Help Before You Arrive
Students are invited to meet with an International Student Advisor to discuss concerns. Common issues include health care, immigration, finances, academics, intercultural experiences, homesickness, and interpersonal relationships.

- Call the International Centre at (780) 492-2692 to make an appointment with an advisor.
Live Chat (June 24 - August Only)
You can ask our advisors questions using your favorite instant messaging service. Instant Messaging services will be available starting June 24, 2011 (Monday through Friday) from 7 am – 9 am (Mountain Daylight Time). You will be able to contact staff at University of Alberta International to ask questions about arriving in Canada.
Please note the following exceptions:
- No Live Chat session Thursday, June 29, Monday, August 8, and Tuesday, August 9, 2011.
- Live Chat will be held from 5:30 – 7:30 am (Mountain Daylight Time) on Friday, June 30, 2011.
